Game Music

Music from various projects.
I make game music mainly because I already work with game development. But it's good fun to create music in a particular theme for example, because you do stuff you never would have done otherwise and you learn a lot too.
Most recent on top, oldest - bottom.

Reckless Racing (former Deliverace)

Reckless RacingI made 4 tunes for this game, also many of the tracks/levels for the game and the Sound FX.
The theme tune is influenced by the "Dueling Banjos"-part of the movie Deliverance. The main melody is "Dixie" (confederate song, pretty well known). These two ingredients should make most people think of hillbillies and rednecks.
Harmonica parts played by a friend of mine, Dennis Gustafsson.
I used sounds from freesound.org, a complete contribution list will be available soon.

Raging Thunder 2

Raging Thunder 2I made 2 tunes for this game. Again, I also made many of the tracks/levels for the game. Oh, and the sound FX too.

Krazy Kart Racing

Krazy Kart RacingI made 8 tunes in about 7 weeks in my spare (?) time which was really tough. 4 tunes were remakes of music from the GBA version and 4 were original tunes. I have only included my original tunes.
All tunes are XMs converted to MP3's, no additional processing is done. I worked really hard to make them sound good qualitywise, but unfortunately the playback in the game is not 100% accurate. Listen to how they should sound with a proper XM-player. Filesize between 170-270kb per tune uncompressed.

Fastlane Street Racing

Fastlane Street RacingI made 3 tunes for this game and spent about 1 day on each of them which is is a lot less than I prefer. Be sure to check the game out too. I also made many of the tracks/levels for the game.

Mogul

/ Flash edutainment game

I originally made a mod/XM tune for a cracktro for "Bloody Thieves" if I remember correctly. A few years later I made a more polished version which was used later on in a project by UR, part of Swedish television. It was fun to do something different from the usual dance remixing of SIDs. I like the surf-style guitar at 2:17.
The music fits the game real well, check it out.

Pirates Of Treasure Island

/ Shareware PC and Mac

Pirates Of Treasure IslandThe music was made in XM-format and the orchestral style doesn't do too well compared to MP3's or Ogg's of "real" music. Making orchestral music in tiny files was not easy. There are 2 tunes missing. All songs were mangled into one file to be able to reuse samples for the different songs. Total filesize was less than 1 MB uncompressed.
