Classic Original Music

This is my old FT2/MT2 music from between '97-'01.

Back then, I made music "for fun" without any plans on how and why I made them. After these I have more of a plan when making a song. No music I do today is done just fun. There is always a purpose or it's made specially for a project (work) which is sad. I almost envy people saying "I have tons of tunes I never finished on my HD". I think I have 3 unfinished songs for the last 10 years. There is no time for just fiddling around and not have anything to come out of it. I want to do some experimenting, I want to have no pressure, no expectations.

Oldest song at the bottom, most recent at the top.

I still like the 303-ish distorted sound in this song, it was made on the JD800 as most other instruments in the tune. Speech samples from the movie Village of the Damned.

I was trying out some new techniques and tried some filter sweeps which I found real cool and used Rebirth 338 which was new and hot at the time.
The song was inspired by Man with No Name - Sugar Rush but was nowhere near as good as that one. Well, at least I gave it a try.

A little goa trance. I sampled some speech from Cannonball Run 2 where someone mentions "nuns" and there was the name for the song.

My first song that didn't sound like an Amiga module. The world of softsynths had been opened and from that point, life was good.
Samples from a zombie movie (can't remember which one) was used and at some point there was a graveyard, so there was the name.

Not much to say about this one... Insane tempo, but I listened to a lot of rave at the time.

One of my first tunes in FT2. Sounds kind of mod-ish because the use of samples. One sample in particular came from DJ Scot Project - U (I got a feelin') which was a real kick-ass tune at the clubs.

This was actually made on Amiga but I reworked it a little in FT2. Speech samples from Broken Arrow. I like it because it has many different parts and variation.
